Chapter 3 of 11
Power for every desk
Every complete installed PC shares island power, from desk 1 to desk 8. Every PC on a desk counts, whether it is mining or waiting.
- Starting capacity
- 400 Wall desks share it
- Power levels
- 14Level 0 to 13
- Top capacity
- 4,250 Wall installed PCs
- All levels
- $200 + $13 per 100 H/s13 h 30 min
#Desk 1 counts too
The first desk has no separate home-power allowance. Buying a PC, replacing one or saving a custom build checks the total load of all complete installed PCs. A replacement subtracts the old PC’s watts before adding the new PC.
#Reserve enough capacity
Complete the required power upgrades before installing a PC. A purchase or build that exceeds capacity is refused without charging. Moving an installed PC to another desk preserves its reserved watts; storing or dismantling it removes its completed load.
Island Level 1 also caps each PC at 900 H/s of healthy base hash. Island Level 2 removes that cap. These checks apply to custom builds as well as ready PCs.
#The power levels
The POWER yard shows your completed power level. A queued upgrade only adds capacity when construction finishes.
